Phoenix Reptile Expo Rules

  1. Only official exhibitors are permitted to sell at the expo. Only exhibitors are allowed to bring animals into the Convention Center. Animals taken out of the Convention Center cannot be returned.
  2. Each exhibitor is responsible for obtaining their own Arizona Joint Tax License (https://azdor.gov/Portals/0/ADOR-forms/10100/10196_f.pdf or available on www.aztaxes.gov) and for collecting the 9% Arizona sales tax.
  3. 3. Absolutely NO venomous, native or Arizona restricted wildlife. Please see the Arizona Game and Fish site for restricted wildlife listing. http://www.azgfd.gov/eservices/special_licenses/pdfs/rules/r12-4-406.pdf
  4. Endangered or permitted species must not be displayed or sold without their proper legal documentation.
  5. No turtle under 4” will be sold as pets.
  6. No live mammals (this includes hedgehogs) or birds are allowed in the Expo.
  7. Nothing is to be displayed or sold within the hotel. If you choose to take reptiles to your hotel, please be discreet. Use boxes that are not clear. This hotel has a rule against animals in rooms. If you are discreet and put a “Do Not Disturb” sign on your door, you should not have a problem.
  8. All animals must be kept in secure containers.
  9. Vendor animals must be kept at their table. Professional security staff will be provided Friday night until Saturday morning and Saturday night, until Sunday morning. No one may enter during these times.
  10. No smoking inside the Convention Center.
  11. An inspection of animals will be conducted by the show vet. Any animal deemed unhealthy by the show vet or not displayed in a humane manner will be removed from the vendor’s table.
  12. The Phoenix Reptile Expo or its agents cannot be held responsible for damages, theft, or injuries and reserve the right to expel anyone that is in violation of these rules.
